Director's Inspiration
The problem is the isolation of the elderly and the lack of retirement measures around the world.
Unlike the past when filial piety was considered important, children only live their life after leaving their home.
Children visit their parents only on special days.
I wanted to show the elderly as being the ones who proudly lead their lives, rather than just looking at them as the second-class citizen.
Synopsis
An old couple lives with each other's daily lives hidden. The old man, who does subway courier work without his wife knowing it. On the old man's birthday, his wife forgot the day.
